Temporary Speed Limit Notice 4th - 5th August – A516 Etwall Road, Mickleover

When: From Monday 4th August 2025 to Tuesday 5th August 2025

Where: Temporary speed limits will be in place on the A516 Etwall Road, Mickleover, to allow for essential maintenance works.

Speed Limit Changes:

• Westbound:

  • A temporary 50mph limit will apply for approximately 0.2 miles, starting just over 0.8 miles east of the A516/Kensey Road roundabout.

  • A temporary 30mph limit will then follow for around 1 mile, continuing towards the roundabout and ending just under 0.25 miles west of it.

    
    

• Eastbound:

  • A temporary 40mph limit will apply for around 0.1 miles, starting roughly 0.6 miles west of the A516/Kensey Road roundabout.

  • A temporary 30mph limit will then be in place for about 1 mile, extending past the roundabout to a point approximately 0.5 miles east of it.

    
    

Reason for the Restrictions: To safely carry out planned highway maintenance.

Additional Information:These restrictions will be in place for the duration of the works but may be lifted earlier if the work finishes ahead of schedule.
