Protect Yourself from Scams and Fraud

A person commmiting cyber crime

Scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated and can affect anyone, regardless of age or background.

If you believe you have been targeted by a scam, or have fallen victim to fraud or cybercrime, it’s important to report it immediately.

You can report scams and fraud to Action Fraud, the UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and cybercrime:

Report online to Action Fraud📞 Call 0300 123 2040 (Monday to Friday, 8am–8pm)

Why reporting matters:

  • Protect others – Your report could stop someone else from becoming a victim.

  • Disrupt criminals – Reporting helps prevent fraudsters from continuing their scams.

  • Support investigations – Your information can help build a bigger picture of large-scale scams involving many victims.

If you need help, trained advisors are available to offer guidance and support.
